about 11m north of the north-east
corner of the chancel, Church of
St. Mary

GV II


Short chest tomb; William Wilks, died 1793; stone. Flat lid,
moulded edge; sides raised rectangular panel with moulded edge.
Finds elongated Roman Doric pilasters, with base, fielded panel to
stem. Moulded top to plinth. Good lettering, first line with
copperplate scrolling.
