Coupland Castle

Lodge. Early-mid C19, extended later C19. Random rubble with ashlar dressings
and Welsh slate roof.

Single storey. Originally 3 bays extended to 4th bay on left.

Original section has raised quoins and central 4-panelled door with triangular
overlight in Tudor-arched, moulded and hollow-chamfered surround with dripstone.
Flanking 12-pane sashes in similar surrounds with hoodmoulds.

1-bay addition on left is rendered with pink ashlar dressings, raised quoins
and 12-pane sash in raised surround.

Hipped and swept roof with widely projecting eaves and 2 octagonal ridge stacks
over original section.
