Circa 1700 cottage extended in 'golden' squared rubble c1844-46.
East front in 2 parts, older part to right is later C17: low 2 storeys and attic,
coursed rubble with Cotswold stone roof; 3 modern dormers; 3 windows 3:2:3 light
chamfered mullion type in rebated surrounds with glazing bar casements; central
chamfered doorway.
Left hand bay taller in Cotswold style, also 2½ storeys, gabled with long mullion
windows, glazing bar casements; moulded eaves with stopped return.
North front: central gable breaks eaves cornice, narrow windows; imported 'Tuscan'
portico with coupled columns; stepped projecting chimneys flanking doorway. Shorter
single storey parallel range to rear of older part. The Victorian extension has
2 chimneys to rear with diagonal shafts.
Interior: late Georgian style staircase.
