Detached Farmhouse. Late C17, with C19 refenestration and
re-roofing. Rubble stone base and chalk-block walls. Slate
roof with gable ends, with Roman-tile roof on stabling at left
end. Brick stack at left hand gable. Two storeys. 3 windows,
ground floor has 3-light ovolo-moulded stone mullions with
separate labels over, iron casements and lead lights; a 2-light
C20 wood casement at left hand end. First floor: 3-light iron
casements with lead lights, C19. Cambered stone voussoirs to
window heads. Front door, at centre, panelled and glazed, C20.
Porch, flint rubble with dressed stone jambs, flat arch entrance
and gabled slate roof over, C19. Stable attached at left hand
end, same materials and Roman tile roof, plank stable shutter,
and plank loft door over with wood lintel. Inserted 2-light
casement at left hand ground. Attached rubble-stone shed at
left hand end along lane is included. Open gable-end. Roman-
tile roof.
