Former rectory. Early C19. Brick and stone walls, part rendered, slate roof, brick
stacks. Three storeys. Present entrance facade - at rear - has modern bow-fronted
porch with part-glazed doors and Tuscan columns and entablature. Ground and first
floors each have one double-hung sash window with glazing bars and one blind
window. Central similar window at mezzanine level, to stairs. Second floor has two
similar windows and one blind window. Original entrance facade - south-east gable
wall - has 6-panel door with fanlight. Ground floor has two double-hung sash
windows with glazing bars. First and second floors each have three similar
windows. Garden elevation has, on each floor, four double-hung sash windows with
glazing bars. Moulded eaves cornice.
Interior has several reeded architraves with angle rosettes. Main first floor rooms
have contemporary hob gates. Other period fireplaces imported. Cut string stair
with square balusters, wreathed handrail and simple carved spandrils.
