Originally the main part of Friday Street Farm, late C18/early C19,
extended slightly later in C19 to rear to form double range, but
later range (now called Friday Street Farmhouse) much altered and
not of special interest. Brick, slate roof to front, concrete
tiles to rear, shortened brick end stacks with rendered bases.
Built as single range, 2 storeys and attic in gable end, on raised
basement. Five windows, wood 2-light mullion and transoms of late
C20, longer on ground floor, with central first floor window
bricked up, all with large splayed painted keystones and voussoirs.
Central door up five steps, of 6 panels, top 2 glazed, rest
fielded, and with flat moulded porch hood on struts with margin
glazed transom light across front. Cambered-head 2-light basement
window to left.
