gardens of Temple Guiting House

Entrance to tunnel (right) and grotto left c1790-1805. Probably the
creation of George Talbot (q.v. Temple Guiting House). Two arched
entrances outlined in large undressed limestone rubble. Right hand
opening extends back in form of a below ground tunnel along the
line of former road (now diverted).
