Formerly small coach house, now detached house. Early C19. Ashlar
limestone; asbestos slate roof. Singe-storey, small rectangular
building. Parapet gable ends, west with steep pediment, blocked
oculus in tympanum. Rusticated round archway with later infilling.
Plain hood band rises over arch and continues to section of
elevation to left with small round arched doorway having imposts
and keystone - 6-panel door. Blocked round arched doorway on south
side facing street. Attached outbuilding on north side is not of
special interest. Pair of square piers with short lengths of iron
railings partially enclose yard. Possibly built to house the
town's fire engine.
