A mediaeval timber-framed and plastered 'Wealdon' house, probably of the C15
The front has C20 pargetting. Wings project at the east and west ends and the
west wing is jettied on the 1st storey. The roof is carried across the centre
part continuous with the face of the wings and is supported or curved braces.
2 storeys. The windows are irregular, various C20 casements. No 35 has a boarded
door. At the rear there is an early C19 block, 2 storeys. 4 window range, metal
casements with "Gothic" arched lights. Roof tiled, double pitched. (RCHM 23).

Nos 29 to 39 (odd) 43, and Nos 26 to 42 (even) form a group.
