Small house. Probably early C18, enlarged C19, altered late C20.
Brick-nogged timber framing on brick plinth, thatched roof; tiled,
brick extension. Three-bay, 2-storey, one room deep: single-bay,
single-storey extension left end, late C20 wing to rear. Gable to
road: left return: left end brick wing, 2-light casement,
cambered brick arch. Framing heavy main posts and floor beams, 2-
panels high. Two-light casement left, leaded lights; single-
storey gabled C20 brick porch, door left return, 2-light casement
gable; single and 2-light casements to right. Above three 2-light
casements. External brick chimney left end, and large one road
end, with brick gathering. Lean-to at road end and rear wing not
of special interest. Forms group with Cooks Green Farmhouse and
barn (q.v.).
