GV II

House. Late C18 with mid C19 addition and alterations. Cement-rendered, Welsh
slate roof. 2 storeys with attics, 3:1 bays; original 3-bay house has 2 wings
to rear infilled by an outshut. Original house: large quoins. Doorway to bay
1 with part-glazed door and patterned fanlight, in open-pedimented Doric porch.
Bay 2 has inserted bay window, other bays have 4-pane sashes in raised ashlar
surrounds with projecting sills. Added bay 4 has bay-window beneath 4 pane sash.
Range has shaped kneelers and gable copings. 3-bay part has corniced ashlar end
stacks and 2 matching ridge stacks, bay 4 has end stack. Rear: round-headed stair
window to wing on left.
