Former hall now 2 dwellings. C17 with extensive rebuilding to the farmhouse
late C18 or early C19 and the eastern part, Stone Roof, altered C20.
Coursed, squared stone. Stone slate roof. Two storeys. L-plan, formerly
three rooms now the two buildings are separate and linked only by an arched
lintel on the site of the screens passage. The lintel is inscribed "J.W.
1652". Western part: quoins. Central ground-floor single light with 3-light
flat-faced mullion windows to left and right both floors (those to ground
floor each with one mullion removed). Hollow-chamfered gable copings on
moulded kneelers to right. Ashlar gable stack to right, brick gable stack to
left. Remains of double-chamfered windows to rear. Blocked 2-light
double-chamfered window to 1st floor of right return. Eastern part: C20
windows to front (east). The right gable has a 3-light window to ground
floor and a 2-light window to 1st floor, both double-chamfered. Also a tiny
chamfered ground-floor light. The left gable has a 2-light double-chamfered
window with hoodmould.
