House. Late C17 much altered and with front range added early-mid C19. Ashlar
sandstone, roof not visible; rear range of rendered rubble. 2 storeys, 5 x l-bay
front range with C17 parallel range to rear having extended wing to rear left.
Main front in Tudor Revival style with chamfered plinth and corner piers rising as
embattled turrets. Projecting single-storey porch has Tudor-arched door with
hoodmould flanked by offset buttresses, string course beneath embattlements.
Flanking windows have unequally-hung 15-pane sashes in chamfered openings with
hoodmoulds. French window above flanked by buttresses and unequally-hung 9-pane
sashes with linking string course at sill level, hoodmoulds. Cornice beneath
embattled parapet stepping up to centre above blank shield. Painted blind window
to left return, right return as front. Rear range retains C17 corniced ashlar
end stacks and gable copings; otherwise altered.
