House, then farmbuilding. C17, enlarged and remodelled as farmbuilding
late C18 (probably c.1780 as house, q.v.); altered. Coursed squared
stone, some blocks untooled, others with herringbone tooling; pantile
roof with stone coping and ridge. Long single-storey house. South
elevation: from left: doorway; blocked chamfered light; 3-light
chamfered mullion window, the mullions removed and partly blocked;
head of chamfered light; later doorway; lower added bay on right.
Rear: 3 doorways, that on right with reused chamfered lintel.
Interior: 2 stone cross-walls, one with a quoined doorway with
tripartite lintel and a small opening in gable; principal-rafter
roof trusses with tusk-tenoned purlins.
