Farmhouse. Early C19 with added rear wing and later alterations. Coursed,
squared, herringbone-tooled stone; C20 artificial slate roof with Welsh slates
to wing. T-shaped. 2 Storeys with attic, 3 bays, off-centre rear wing and
outshut to rear right in angle. Garden (south) front: plinth. Central 4-panel
door, top 2 panels glazed, under overlight with glazing bars the whole recessed
in wooden surround with pilasters, cornice and panelled reveals. Windows are
16-pane sashes in flush wood frames with stone lintels and projecting cills. At
eaves, the ends of 4 iron tie-rods and band. Shaped kneelers; the left one
broken off. Ashlar coping. End stacks. Rear: masonry is untooled. A
side-sliding sash to ground floor right and an early 16-pane sash with glazing
bars to 1st floor left. Left return: a sash with glazing bars to 1st floor left
and a side-sliding sash to the attic. Interior: dog-leg stair has splat
balusters to second flight.
