Combination farm building. Late C18: Coursed brown sandstone, pantile roof. 2
storeys, 5-bay barn with 2-bay cartshed with granary over to left. Barn: large
board doors, flanked by slit vents, and with external stone steps up to granary
to left. Roof hipped to left. Rear: large board barn doors in porch; 2 boarded
first-floor openings to granary to right. Left return pair of cart-sheds with
cambered beam and central post; board loading door above. Right return: slit
vents on 3 levels, 3:3:2. Interior: collared tie-beam trusses with
irregularly-shaped ties; slit vents in wall dividing barn from granary; said to
have a clay threshing floor.
