House, early-mid C18 and early C19. Early part (now domestic rear wing) white-
washed brick with corbelled brick conrice, pantiled roof. Later part, now main
front range, brownish-red brick on stone plinth, Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 3
bays, symmetrical 6-panel door with overlight in open-pedimented Roman Doric
doorcase. Gauged flat brick arches to sash windows. Hipped roof. Full-height
segmental bow on right return. Two-storey, 3-bay rear wing has sash windows on
east front, Yorkshire lights above French windows on west. C20 north-east
extension to front range is not of special interest.
