2 houses with attached barn. C17 with alterations. Coursed squared stone,
ashlar with graduated stone slate roof. Houses: 2 storeys, 6 first-floor
windows. 2 left-hand bays incorporated from the barn. Original C17 house
with end lobby-entrance plan. Quoins to either end and left of right-hand
bay. 2 glazed doors, one to right of 2 left-hand bays has C17
chamfered quoined surround with cambered arched lintel; that to left of 2
right-hand bays has a plain stone surround. Windows to ground floor are C19
and of 2 lights with flat-faced mullions apart from those to either side of
right-hand door. To its right is a 3-light double-chamfered mullioned
window with hoodmould, to the left of the door is a similar window of 2-
lights, originally of 4 lights. First floor: 2 left-hand bays and right-
hand bay have C19 2-light flat-faced mullion windows. 2 bays to left of
right-hand bay have 2-light chamfered mullion windows, and over C17 door is
a similar window of 4-lights. Shaped kneeler and moulded coping to right,
corniced end stacks and one to ridge. Barn (attached to left-hand side).
To centre a large barn door under a segmental arch with raised keystone and
voussoirs. To left a 4-pane sash window; to its left a board door in plain
stone surround.
