Lodge house. Probably c1890 for the 14th Viscount Mountgarret. Coursed
squared gritstone and ashlar, purple slate roof. A single-storey 3-bay
building with canted front elevation. Canted bay flanked by 6-panel doors,
all under a canted portico with 4 Ionic columns in antis supporting
entablature, deep cornice and blocking course. Tall 6-pane casement windows
to 3 sides of canted bay. A projecting bay to right with 9-pane sash. 3-
flue stack to rear of canted bay. Hipped roof.
