5/51 Village Pump and Trougl
II
Pump and trough. Mid C19. Cast iron. Pump octagonal on plan with
rectangular trough with rounded ends. Pump approximately 1.5 metres in
height with base, relief decoration based on Greek key pattern to shaft
which has curved outflow pipe to front and handle to right. Frieze with
relief decoration. Original cap replaced by wooden copy. Plain trough with
massive rim.
