Barn with end byre. Mid C18. Coursed squared limestone rubble and cobbles,
pantile roof with eaves course of stone slates. Quoins. 5 bays long, with
a central cart entrance with shaped wooden lintel and quoined jambs. Byre
door to left with timber lintel and quoined jambs, inserted square window to
right. 2 rows of slit breathers and quoined jambs. Interior: roof
structure of plain cross beams with crown posts. One of the few surviving
barns in a village which was, into the C19, a grouping of farms around the
village green.
