Row of 4 houses. Late C17 with C20 alterations. Coursed gritstone, pantile
roof. Nos 47 and 49: 2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. Main entrance
between 2 right windows has C20 glazed door with large ogee lintel with
inscription 'I. S. 1682' and chamfered surround. Hoodmould above continues
over window to left. C20 opening with glazed door between windows to left.
Ground-floor windows left and centre have C20 frames with plate glass.
Hoodmould surviving far left. Ground-floor right and first-floor windows
have C20 16- and 12-pane casements. Nos 51 and 53 have C20 glazed doors and
casements with glazing bars. Ashlar copings and shaped kneelers, stack at
each gable end, 3 further stacks spaced along ridge. Nos 51 and 53 included
for group value. Formerly known as Leconfield Terrace.
