House. Mid C18. Red brick, English garden wall bond, pantile roof with
lower 2 courses of stone slates. Central lobby-entrance plan. 2 storeys,
3 bays. Wide 6-panel double-door, top 2 panels glazed, in plain surround.
Flanked by 16-pane sashes on both floors, lst-floor windows with, to right,
a concrete lintel and, to left, a flat soldier-brick arch. A small blocked
window to first-floor centre. String course at first-floor level. Ashlar
coping. Brick stacks to centre and right gable. Interior: late C17 to C18
dog-leg staircase with bulbous turned balusters, of 4 flights, in stair
turret to rear. C18 panelled doors, and beams with cyma stops. Front
garden wall of brick, English bond, with ashlar coping. Approximately 80
centimetres high, ramped up to 1.5 metres at each end, overall length
approximately 20 metres.
