4/12 Gates, gate piers and
flanking walls to Rudding
Park

II

Gates, gate piers and flanking walls. Probably early C19 for the Honourable
William Gordon, and C20. Ashlar and wrought-iron. Gates: 2 leaves,
geometric pattern of radiating bars. Gate piers: approximately 4 metres
high. Projecting plinth and cap surmounted by massive bulls head set in a
coronet. Flanking walls: approximately 2 metres high, heavy stone capping.
Outer piers have caps with shallow pyramid tops.
