Raised walkway with arches for riding and for a waterfall. Probably c1750.
Coursed gritstone rubble. Tall round arch to left, with pathway under,
buttress to centre, lower arch right, over waterfall. This structure lies
in Markington Parish but was probably built to carry a pathway from Studley
Royal to a viewpoint overlooking Fountains Abbey before William Aislabie
bought it in 1768.
