Church. 1858-60 by G.E. Street. Sandstone ashlar, plain tile roof. 2-bay nave with
South porch, 2-bay chancel with tower to south and vestry to north. In High Victorian
Gothic style. West front: 4 lancets with cusped heads beneath rose window containing
cinquefoils. Pointed south door with fine decorative wrought-iron hinges flanked by
attached shafts with stylised foliage capitals. 3-light pointed windows to nave.
2-stage tower with semi-circular staircase turret to west and cusped lancets. Twin
belfry openings with plate tracery roundels above. Broach spire with lucarnes. Chancel:
2-light pointed windows with quatrefoil roundels. Vestry: 3 cusped lancets beneath
quatrefoil roundel. East end: 3-light window with 3 traceried roundels in head. Interior
contains 5-panel reredos, pulpit and font, all with marble inlay.
