Inn, now pair of cottages. Mid-late C18 with early C19 extension; subdivided c1980. Dressed sandstone on sandstone plinth, with herringbone-tooled quoins; pantile roof; rebuilt stacks. Originally three-cell, hearth-passage plan, later extended to end right and to rear. Two storey, three window front. Right of centre C20 half-glazed door in original doorway; later inserted half-glazed door recessed to centre left, flanked by two-light, small-pane, horizontal sliding sashes with stone sills. End right window is 16-pane sash. Three two-light, small-pane, horizontal sliding sashes to first floor. Tripartite keyed lintels to all original round floor openings. Rear wing: bordered herringbone-tooled quoins. Three-light, small-pane horizontal sliding sash in quoined opening with keyed flat arch. First floor windows are unequal nine-pane sashes. Coped gables and plain kneelers. End and centre stacks.
