Large C17 farmhouse with west wing of circa 1908 and other later alterations.
2 storeys and attics. 2 window west front with 1 window north wing in C17 manner.
Stone slate roof. Dressed grit stone. Gables with coved coping and kneelers
surmounted by finials. Large projecting chimney stack on west wall with crow-stepped
base rising to double stack with gargoyles at the base of the base shaft. Good
original 2-light windows with mullions, hood moulds and leaded lights: later
splayed bay windows to ground floor. Doorway with low pointed head in splayed
recess with hood-mould carried over adjoining window: altered original oak boarded
door.
