House and adjoining barn. Late C18 of 2 builds with C19 and C20
alterations. Coursed limestone rubble, brick to rear of barn, pantile
roof and brick stacks. Barn to left, house to right. House of central
hallway entrance plan 1½ rooms in depth. 2 storeys, 2 first floor
windows, symmetrical facade. C20 half-glazed door flanked by
3-light Yorkshire sash to left and C20 casement to right. First floor:
3-light Yorkshire sash to left and casement to right. Stone sills and
lintels throughout. Barn: 3 first floor 4-pane fixed windows with
wooden lintels. Rear of barn in brick with cart entrance. 2 brick
piers carry first floor with pitching door to left and two 4-pane fixed
windows to right. Harrison and Hutton, Vernacular Houses in North
