Church. 1862. By Charles Barry Junior. In Early English style.
Limestone with some sandstone detailing and plain tile roof. 5-bay
nave, with west bellcote, south porch, 2-bay chancel and vestry to north
of chancel. West end has 2 lancets on either side of wide buttress
carrying octagonal bellcote with cusped lancet belfry windows. Nave
windows: paired lancets with plate tracery roundels above. Porch has
pointed moulded arch carried on shafted respond. Naturalistic foliate
carving to south door tympanum. Lower chancel has single lancets and
dog-tooth frieze above corbel table. East end has 3 stepped lancets
with vesica above. Interior: bellcote supported on foliate brackets.
