Row of 5 terraced cottages. Early C19. Hammer-dressed sandstone, pantile
roof. Each cottage on single-cell direct-entry plan. 2 storeys, 5 first-
floor windows. Straight joint between nos 4 and 5. Each cottage has 4-
panel door except C20 2-panel door to no 4. 2-light Yorkshire sash windows
under cambered brick arches to nos 1, 2 and 3. Casements in enlarged
window openings to nos 4 and 5 with shop front to no 5. Left end and ridge
stacks.
