GV II

House, now divided into 2 dwellings. Probably late C18, roof raised in mid C19
and 3 gabled dormers added later. Coursed squared stone, Welsh slate roof.
2 storeys, attic and basement, 5 windows, symmetrical front. Sash windows with
glazing bars, some replaced, in near-flush wood architraves. Yorkshire sash
in basement plinth. Central door has heavy chamfered stone lintel and jambs,
and is of 6 panels, 3 and 3. Stone copings, kneelers and end chimneys to roof.
At rear a 1-storey early C19 extension is part of Jasmine Cottage. Otherwise
rear elevation blank but for 1 window.
