House, main part of late C18 appearance attached to an older part.
Coursed tooled sandstone main house; weathered masonry in old part.
Pantiled roof with stone ridge, copings, kneelers and stacks.
Main house 2 storeys, 2 wide bays. Central boarded door with
overlight; flanking sashes, lost bars, with projecting cills.
1-storey right section concealed by 1-storey older building with
small modern windows and a very steeply-pitched swept roof. A long
plain lean-to, with similar windows, projects from this. Main
house has block kneelers and corniced end chimneys.
Rear elevation has boarded door and very small flanking sashes.
1-storey left part may be the original downhouse of a hearth-passage
plan house of which the main (right) part has been rebuilt.
