Church. 1854. By G T Andrews. Sandstone ashlar with Welsh slate roof and
limestone spire. Early C14 Gothic Revival style. North-west tower, 4-bay
nave with south porch and north aisle, 2-bay chancel with vestry to north.
3-stage tower. Buttresses with off-sets and angle stair turret to 2nd
stage. Trefoil-headed lancets to each stage, slits to stair turret. Twin-
light bell-openings with quatrefoils to heads under hoodmoulds. Broach
spire. Nave and recessed chancel. Buttresses with off-sets. South porch
has pointed plank doorway in surround with slender columns to jambs.
Hoodmould with face stops. 2-light windows with trefoils and quatrefoils
to heads. Continuous moulded sill band. Pointed priest's entrance to
chancel with plank door and hoodmould. 3-light west window under hood with
face stops, with quatrefoil to gable. 3-light east window under hood with
face stops. Ashlar coping to gable ends. Interior: 3-bay arcade to north,
with double-chamfered cylindrical piers. Double-chamfered chancel arch.
