Stables, now offices. Probably 1822 with late C20 alterations. Pinkish-
brown brick with red brick dressings and grey slate roof. 2 storeys, 12
first floor openings. Ground floor has off-centre entrance a 6-panel door
with overlight under flat arch of red rubbed brick. To left a plank stable
door with overlight and two further blocked doorways now with 9-pane
casements all under flat arches of red rubbed brick. Evidence of further
blocked openings to right otherwise multi-paned casement windows. To first
floor are 12 oculi within red brick surrounds, 2 with patterned brick infil
otherwise with plate glass. Ridge and end stack. Ashlar coping and
kneelers. Included for group value.
