House extending into former dairy to rear and barn to left, with
attached former farm buildings to rear now used for storage. Mid to
late C18, probably raised in C19. Coursed sandstone with quoins.
Pantile roof. Brick stacks, 1 rebuilt. 3-cell hearth-passage plan with
rear service wing. One and a half storey, 3-window front. Boarded door
to left of centre has 2-light horizontal sliding sash with keyed lintel
to left. To right, two 2-light horizontal sliding sashes with plain
lintels. 3 inserted gabled half-dormers with 4-pane pointed sashes, and
pierced and scalloped barge boards and finials. Coped gable walls with
moulded kneelers. 2 end stacks, 1 left of centre. To interior: plan
intact. Original trap-door access to upper floor is preserved.
