House at end of row. Early to mid C19. Rendered, slate,
asbestos-cement slate and concrete tile roof. A front range
with wide-span mansard roof has various additions at the back,
including a long wing immediately adjacent to Holy Trinity
Church (qv).
3 storeys, attic and basement, 2 windows; plain sash dormers
to segmental heads above full-height canted bays with plain
sashes, with dentil cornices at each level, carried across
full-width to the top floor, and panelled spandrels; at
basement level are 3 plain sashes to voussoirs with keystone.
Off-centre, right is a 6-panel door in arched moulded
architrave and plain fanlight on 2 stone steps with nosings. A
plain blocking course and coped parapet, and large brick gable
stacks.
The rear includes segmental-headed lights, and a large 16-pane
sash in a rear range adjoining Holy Trinity Church, plus a
flat-roofed extension.
INTERIOR not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: spearhead railings across the full
frontage on a stone dwarf wall return to the doorway, and
continue across the frontage to the adjoining No.22 (qv).
