House, C17 with C18 and C20 restorations. Double range timber framed with first
floor now of brick and rubble with rusticated patterned plaster, first floor
rough rendered. Red plain tile roof of staggered side purlin construction,
the two gable ends to front of the 40 x 40 dwelling. 2 storeys and attics,
the original brick vaulted cellar now blocked. 2 window range of C20 sliding
sashes. Central early C20 ornately panelled door. Internally there are stop
chamfered beams throughout. Many C18 and early C19 doors and architraves and
some C17 with original ironmongery. A very fine central, restored, red brick
6 shaft octagonal chimney with mouldings, which has 2 flues to ground floor
and 1 to first floor.
