Late C17 with C18 upper floor, Similar build to No 6 (qv). 2 storeys and attics.
Rendered. Stone slate roof with 2 hipped dormers, casements with glazing bars.
3 windows, moulded stone surrounds, wide keystones and one window to left over
passage with fluted keystone. Fine late C18 shop front with central and 2 side
doors (one is now a window). 2 bowed ground floor windows, no glazing bars, with
narrow reeded columns of a modified Cornthian type, plain frieze and fluted and
moulded cornice on modillions. Central door has rectangular fanlight with ornamental
glazed semi-circle.

No4 and Nos 6 to 12 (consec)form a group.
