House. Early C17 and 1670. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings.
Pantile roof and ashlar coped gables. A single gable and 2 ridge brick stacks.
L-plan. 2-storey. North street front, has single glazing bar window under
wooden lintel to the right, and to the left a 3-light ovolo mullion window
in chamfered surround with hood mould. Above a small 2-light sliding sash.
The west front has a single large 2-light ovolo mullion window in chamfered
surround with hood mould. Above to the left two 2-light sliding sashes, and
to the right a single 2-light ovolo mullion window in chamfered surround with
hood mould and above a plaque inscribed 'P. P. 1670'. East gable wall also
has a 2-light ovolo mullion window in chamfered surround with hood mould.
East wall has an off-centre doorway with chamfered ashlar surround and a C19
panel door, to the right a 2-light sliding sash in a chamfered surround, and
to the left a fixed light also in a chamfered surround, all these openings
have hood moulds. Above is a tiny fixed light in a rough chamfered surround
and a C19 2-light sliding sash to the right. The south front has a large
glazing bar sash in a moulded ashlar surround with a segment head, and a brick
relieving arch over, to the left a C20 casement with a segment brick head.
Above a small C20 gabled dormer. Interior has various chamfered beams, a
single bressumer fireplace and a collar purlin roof.
