House. C15/C16 with later & C20 alterations. Half H plan with addition to rear.
2 storeys to right jettied crosswing, single storey to left, 1 storey and attic
with gabled dormer to central range. Red plain tile roof. Timber framed and
plastered. 4 range C20 casement windows with flat drip hoods. Door at rear. 2
red brick chimney stacks. There is a foliate bracket to right jetty and a carved
inscription on the bressumer "George Boote made this house 1598". RCHM 42
