Cottage; 1852; coursed limestone and ironstone rubble with ashlar dressings,
black glazed pantile roof with one stone and one yellow brick gable stacks.
Three bay two storey front with plinth and quoins. Central C19 planked
door with original decorative iron furniture set in a small stone gabled
porch, in the gable of which is a datestone inscribed 'ICT 1852'
(John Charles Thorold). The porch is flanked by single two light
glazing bar casement windows with slightly advanced stone surrounds, aprons
beneath, and decorative shaped gables over. The fields of both aprons and
gables are lightly pecked. Above is a central single light glazing bar
casement window flanked by single two light similar windows, all with
flat lintels and flush surrounds.
