Medium-sized house. Early-mid C19 with later additions. Stucco walls with hipped
low-pitched slate roof, with deep eaves with moulded gutter cornice. Rendered
brick chimney stacks.
Central stair-hall plan with principal room at the front either side and service
rooms at rear. Late C19 wing added at rear.
2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window facade of probably C19 sash windows with glazing
bars removed. Central doorway with Doric portico porch which has fluted square
columns and pilasters, glazed between, and with entablature with triglyphs in the
frieze and mutules in the cornice. Horizontal band between floors and pilasters
run from band to just below eaves, paired at either end with intermediate ones
between windows. Interior inaccessible at time of survey but seen to contain good
quality C19 joinery including stairs with curtail step and panelled shutters to
windows.
