GV II
House, early Cl9. Stucco, roofed with slate. Half-H plan, aspect SE wings
axtending to rear. Later C29 extension to SW, of painted brick. 2 storeys.
Ccntral recessed porch with fluted Ionic columns, plain pilasters and
architrave. Above it, recessed balcony with french windows and ornamental cast
iron railings with scrolls and tulip-leaf motifs. To each side, one double-hung
sash window of 16 lights on each floor, stucco moulded architraves and cornice
heads to ground floor windows only. Hipped roof. 2 groups of octagonal chimney
shafts, 4 and 2 cement rendered. Symmetrical front elevation. NE elevation,
3 double-hung sash windows on each floor as on front elevation, the outer windows
set slightly forward.
