Circa 1800. 2 2-storey houses, designed in single scheme to simulate a
more imposing house. Vermilion brick dressed with darker red over the
window. Sharply protruding eaves beneath flat nipped slate roof. 5 sashed
windows in deep reveals: the central section with 3 windows slightly recessed.
Central door with fanlight set in an alcove within a plain stone case.
To left side is a canted bay shop-window with frieze, cornice. Carriage
archway occupies left end section.
Nos 2 to 20 (even) form a group.
