2 rooms to right are heated from the axial stack, and the end room to left is heated
from a gable end stack to left. In circa mid C19, a third house was added at the
left end, with the front at the left side ; this is of double depth plan, with
central entrance and principal room to front right and left, each heated from a stack
at the side ; shallow service rooms to rear.
Exterior: the first house is at higher ground level to right, of 2-storeys with one
window, all C20 replacements. The ground floor has plank door and 3-light casement ;
first floor has 2-light casement. The house is built into the bank at the right side
and the rear.
The central house is 2-storey, asymmetrical front with C20 windows ; ground floor
has door with pitched slate hood to left, 3-light and 2-light casement to centre and
C20 door in small porch with pitched roof to right ; first floor has three 2-light
casements in gabled dormers. At the rear, there is a door to right with pitched
hood; 2-light casement to left. One gabled dormer with C20 window.
The third house is 2-storey, with symmetrical 2-window front, the upper level at the
front slate-hung. Ground floor has flat-roofed porch with half-glazed outer door
with sidelights, cornice to porch ; panelled double inner doors. Ground floor is
rendered with C20 French window to right and left. First floor has two C19 mullion
and transom windows with glazing bars. The right side slate hung at the upper level
; ground floor left has C20 window, first floor left C20 9-pane light. Rear ground
