GV II

Detached house. Circa 1700. Dressed limestone, corrugated iron
roof formerly thatched, stone and brick gable end stacks. Lobby-
entry. Two-storey, 3-window front. Central planked door with
hoodmould in stone chamfered case, either side is 3-light recessed
chamfered mullioned window. First floor has three 2-light recessed
chamfered mullioned windows. Left return has two 1-light recessed
chamfered windows. Right return has two 1-light recessed chamfered
windows. Rear has planked door and mullioned windows as front.
Gables have coped verges.
Interior retains good original features such as moulded plank and
muntin partitions to ground and first floors, planked doors with
strap hinges and wooden latches. Room to left has bolection-
moulded fireplace surround, room to right has open fireplace with
chamfered lintel on chamfered stone jambs. Stairs have pierced
splat balusters to landing.
