House at end of row with carriage house. Early C19. Yellow
Flemish bond brick, hipped Welsh slate roof, brick stacks. Two-
storey, 3-windowed symmetrical front; sashes. Central 6-panelled
door in wooden Tuscan porch, 16-pane sash with flat arch to either
side. First floor has 16-pane sash either side of 12-pane sash.
Roof with deep eaves. Left return in flint and rubble stone, has
canted bay with sashes to right, 2-light segmental-headed casement
to ground and first floor to left. Rear has 2-light casements and
planked doors, attached to rear is single storey outhouse with
casements and tiled roof. Attached to front right is dressed
limestone carriage house with C20 garage door and elliptically-
arched cart entry to left, first floor has two 2-light casements,
tiled roof with half-hip to left.
Interior has 6-panelled doors in moulded architraves, central
stairs with stick balusters, continuous wreathed and moulded
handrail and shaped cheeks, grey marble fireplaces with paterae.
Unaltered example of classical early C19 house.
