GV II

Two cottages, now one semi-detached house. C17. Painted dressed
limestone and timber-framing with brick nogging, half-hipped
thatched roof, brick axial stack. Entrance to left return. Two-
storey, 3-window, all small-paned with glazing bars. Ground floor
of road frontage has three 2-light casements, two in blocked
doorways to left, timber-framed part to right has 2-light casement,
catslide roof to former forge to right with C20 casements.
Eyebrow dormer to left part with 2-light casement, 2-light casement
to timber-framed build and raking dormer to right. Left return
has C20 gabled porch and 2-light casements. Rear has single-
storey C20 extension with hipped roof, 2-light casements and
eyebrow dormers. Interior said to have two back-to back open
fireplaces, chamfered beams.
