Two houses, probably originally a school. Late C17 or early C18 with early C19
alterations giving an overall Gothic character. Pink sandstone and cobble
rubble walls with flush quoins under graduated greenslate roof with rebuilt
sandstone chimney stacks. Single storey, two bays each. Central studded plank
doors in flattened segmental-arched surrounds within C20 wooden latticed
porches. C19 2-light stone-mullioned windows with pointed heads in stone
surrounds.
